Ujë Ftoht Cafe and Honey

Awesome family restaurant on the road. All products are home made and I was able to feel it without any doubt. Very nice back yard with a nice view on the river and nature. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I recommend this place for a lunch break during the road trip.

it's ok for a stop to have a coffee and eat something. coffee comes in small cups, only americano in large cups

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food here is absolutely delicious – every single time! Whenever I pass through this area, I always make sure to stop at Ujë Ftohtë Cafe and Honey. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, right by the river. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy amazing local food, and take in the natural surroundings. Truly one of my favorite places in the region!

Delicious traditional Albanian food in a cute little café/restaurant on the side of the road. Perfect for a quick stop while traveling. Portions are generous. Unfortunately there were no desserts when we visited so we were not able to taste those. Would definitely come back.

We came as a group of nine friends. Super kind people greeting us, and amazing food! Lots of different homemade honey, olive oil available. We were gifted a jar of homemade honey to bring home and will certainly remember our time here and in Albania. Very much worth the stop and visit!

Amazing place to stop while being on a trip to or from Gjirokaster! Food is amazing - we were expecting something similar to fast-food taking into consideration location of the place - we were so wrong! The food is made at the place, bread is baked in the oven right there, spices used have perfect proportions, it was one of the best places to eat at in Albania! Staff is extremely friendly and has no trouble with explaining cuisine-related stuff more deeply. Also, the staff speaks very good English and appreciates foreigners' attempts at speaking Albanian, so the whole visit there is seamless and very welcoming. There is a river nearby, we didn't have enough time to check it out, but it looked like an amazing place to chill for a bit. In fact, the whole experience was so good that we stopped there 2 times - while travelling to and from Gjirokaster. If you are around, do not hesitate to stop there, grab something to eat or drink and simply chill for a bit near the river, that's something that you won't regret!

Beautiful little open air restaurant with a big shop with a lot of things from nature (honey, jam, oil, alcohol, soap, skin oil, souvenir, ...)

Food was incredible! Interesting and fresh, the watermelon salad will still in my memory for a very long time. The host were incredible and welcoming. One of the best meals I had in this region.
